Paper Smooches SPARKS-Love Machine

This week’s Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is an Anything Goes challenge. I used the Squeaky Clean set to make a fun shaker card for the challenge.

Love Machine shaker card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper Smooches
My shaker is made with the set's washing machine image.  After stamping the image on red cardstock and cutting it out, I cut the heart shape out of the image for the window of the shaker element.  The round knobs were filled in with dots of Gray Flannel irRESISTible Pico Embellisher.  This is a new product from IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko that is great for adding detail and dimension to your projects, even in the tiniest of spaces.  I backed the cutout opening with acetate, then used two layers of foam tape to adhered the image to a white backing.  The shaker is filled with red and silver sequins in different sizes.

I made a simple scene for the washing machine with a patterned paper panel for "wallpaper" and a piece of kraft cardstock with floorboard style lines drawn on it.  The scene is adhered to a kraft panel on an angle.  I stamped the set's "love machine" sentiment on a cream cardstock strip in red ink, then added it to the panel.  It's accented with a trio of red enamel dots.

Don’t miss what the rest of the SPARKS team has created this week. Here’s where to find them:
