Sending Hugs

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used a Technique Tuesday stamp set to put this one together.

Sending Hugs card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Technique Tuesday
The set I used is called Say It-Hugs.  I love all the possibilities for mixing and matching with this set!  Here, I stamped the "sending hugs" sentiment on a white fishtail flag strip using red ink.

The envelope patterned paper from the Chickaniddy Crafts Date Night paper pad was the perfect match for the sentiment.  I adhered the patterned paper panel to the gray card base, then layered the sentiment on top. The panel is accented with a die cut red heart that I adhered with a dimensional dot.  For a final pop of color, I stuck a pair of red enamel dots on the right side of the sentiment panel.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papersTechnique Tuesday Say It-Hugs stamp set; Tsukineko Memento Luxe Love Letter ink; Chickaniddy Crafts Date Night 6x6 paper pad; My Mind's Eye Necessities red enamel dots; Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Steel Grey cardstock, Fishtail Flag Stax die (My Favorite Things); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); stitched heart die (Lil' Inker Designs)
