Bright Birthday

Here's a bright and colorful birthday card based on the current Deconstructed Sketch.  It's also my entry for this week's birthday themed blogger challenge.  Once I picked out the multicolored triangle patterned paper for the background panel, this card came together pretty quickly.

Bright Birthday card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti
I adhered the patterned paper panel to a lime green card base, then began to layer on coordinating solid cardstock panels.  The sentiment panel is made from half of a lime green pierced circle die adhered to the bottom of a white pierced circle die cut.  The birthday sentiment from the Reverse Confetti All About You set was stamped on the circle in rose pigment ink.  I tucked a pair of blue pierced fishtail flag strips beneath the edge of the sentiment panel to finish the design.

Materials Used:
All About You stamp set (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Rose Bud ink (Tsukineko); Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Limeade Ice cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Lakehouse cardstock (WPlus9); Here and Now 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); Pierced Circle Stax and Pierced Fishtail Flag Stax dies (My Favorite Things); circle die (Spellbinders)
