Filled with Joy

Here's my card for the current Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.  I was inspired by the fun bow tie and its fun color scheme with diagonal stripes.

Filled with Joy card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Clear and Simple StampsI made a simple baby card using one of the dies from the Clear and Simple Stamps Bow Trio-Mini set as my focal point.  The bow was die cut from blue cardstock and assembled with CSS's Simple Adhesive.

I brought in the rest of the colors found in the inspiration photo's bow tie on the cardfront.  I covered most of a gray panel with a piece of golden yellow patterned paper.  The baby sentiment from CSS's Shower Sentiments set was stamped on a lighter gray strip die cut with one of the Favor Flags dies.  I adhered it to the gray panel, then topped it with the bow.  The sentiment was accented with a pair of blue buttons threaded with some hemp twine.  The finished panel was adhered to a pale gray card base.

Materials Used:
Shower Sentiments stamp set, Perfect Little Black Dress ink, Pressed Greige Linen, You're Such a Gray-cious Host, and My Style Blueprint cardstock, Bow Trio-Mini and Favor Flags dies, buttons (Clear and Simple Stamps); A Boy's Life 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); twine (Hemptique)
