Go Boldly

Here's my card for this week's sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I put this space themed design together based on the sketch using stamps from Paper Smooches.

Go Boldly card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper Smooches
I started out with a dark blue card base.  It was topped with a half circle "moon" made from a piece of hexagon patterned paper adhered along the left side of the cardfront.  To go with the moon, I stamped the rocket ship image from the Space Cadet set on white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.  It's adhered to the cardfront with dimensional dots.  I scattered a few silver sequins around the panel as stars, then stamped the set's "go boldly" sentiment at the bottom of the cardfront in shimmery silver ink.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papersPaper Smooches Space Cadet stamp set; Crafter's Companion ultrasmooth white cardstock; Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Carta Bella Boy Oh Boy 6x6 paper pad; disco silver sequins; Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Not Quite Navy cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Delicata Silvery Shimmery ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); markers (Copic); circle die (Spellbinders)
