Waltzingmouse Stamps September Pajama Party

I got some new goodies from Waltzingmouse Stamps this week (thanks for the super speedy shipping, Lynn!), so I thought I'd join in on this month's WMS Pajama Party with some of my new stuff.  I also took the opportunity to ink up some older sets while I had my WMS stamps out, so I have two projects to share at the party.

Too Cute to Spook treat bag-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Waltzingmouse StampsFirst up is the new stuff.  I made a sweet little treat bag with one of the ghosties from the new Boo and Friends set.  I stamped the ghost on white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers, then cut it out.  Now that I look at it again, I think I probably should have used shimmery white cardstock.  That would have been fun!  Anyway, I adhered my little ghost to a striped glassine bag from my stash.  In case you're wondering, when the top's folded down, these bags are just the right size for a square or two of those individually wrapped Ghirardelli chocolate squares.

I used some cardstock scraps to make a trio of fishtail flag strips. The "too cute to spook" sentiment from the new Peek A Boo Sentiments set was stamped on the widest strip.  I arranged them on the bag, tucking the straight ends underneath the ghost.  A few silver sequins completed the design.

Materials Used:
Boo and Friends and Peek A Boo Sentiments stamp sets (Waltzingmouse Stamps); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Lovely Lilac, Gable Green, and Pumpkin Pie cardstock, orange grosgrain ribbon (Stampin' Up!); glassine bag, silver sequins (Michaels); foam tape

Here's project number 2.  This one uses the Bedtime Story sketch.  It's also going to serve as my entry for the Waltzingmouse Fanatics celebration/anniversary themed challenge--check that out here

Happy Birthday Sailor card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Waltzingmouse StampsI covered a kraft card base with some cool blue woodgrain patterned paper, then topped it with a kraft panel stamped with the large background image from the WMS Woodgrain set.  I added a trio of circles at the bottom of the panel.  A silver die cut anchor was adhered to the largest circle using foam tape.  I mixed and matched two sentiments from the Ocean Bound set to get the "happy birthday sailor" sentiment that I stamped near the middle of the kraft panel.

Materials Used:
Ocean Bound and Woodgrain stamp sets (Waltzingmouse Stamps); Memento Luxe Toffee Crunch and Nautical Blue inks (Tsukineko); Real Red and Blue Bayou cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); silver paper (Target); Everday Circus 6x6 paper pad (Fancy Pants); circle punches (EK Success); anchor die (Lifestyle Crafts); foam tape
