You Are the Best

Here's my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I changed the orientation of the sketch from horizontal to vertical, but I think I still managed to stick pretty closely to all of the elements.

You Are the Best card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Winnie & Walter
I built the layout on a piece of mint chevron patterned paper.  After adhering a pair of layered fishtail flag strips at the upper right corner of the panel, I added a piece of a white paper doily on top.  The "you are the best" sentiment from Winnie and Walter's The Big, the Bold, and the You set was stamped in the lower left corner of the panel in teal pigment ink.  The teal shows up nicely against the patterned background.  Pigment inks are definitely my go-to inks when I'm stamping on something with a pattern!

Once the pieces were all in place, I scattered a trio of white sequins around the panel.  The panel was matted on a piece of mint cardstock, then adhered to a cream card base.
