Eye Think You're Neat

I just added the new Monster Mash set from Lawn Fawn to my stamp collection.  I love that it works great for Halloween cards, but it can also be used year round.  On this card I paired the stamp set with some fun patterned paper and the sketch from this week's challenge at The Paper Players.

Eye Think You're Neat card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
I  cut a piece of eye patterned paper into 1 inch pieces, then arranged the pieces on an olive green panel.  After adhering the olive panel to a kraft card base, I stamped the set's "eye think you're neat" sentiment beneath the panel in green pigment ink.  I almost stopped there, but decided to add one of the set's little creatures to the card.  The one-eyed spooky guy was stamped in black ink on white cardstock and shaded just a bit with Copic markers.  I used the matching Monster Mash die to cut it out, then adhered it to the cardfront using dimensional dots.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers:  Lawn Fawn Monster Mash stamp set and Monster Mash dies; Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Memento Luxe Pistachio ink; Jillibean Soup Witches Brew 6x6 paper pad; Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Old Olive cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); markers (Copic)
