Make a Wish

Here's my card for November's second Viva la Verve sketch.  It's also my entry for this month's Verve Diva Inspirations Naturally Navy challenge.

Make a Wish card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps
It's hard to see in the photo, but the large dots on the patterned paper panel are actually navy--they just didn't photograph that way!  I topped the large scale pattern with a kraft stitched circle die cut and a wide strip of navy cardstock.  I used a circle punch to cut a smaller circle from a piece of grid patterned paper, then stamped the 'make a wish" sentiment from Verve's Birthday Bash set on the circle in navy ink. After adding the circle to the cardfront, I accented it with a corrugated star, adhered with foam tape.

Materials Used:
Birthday Bash stamp set (Verve Stamps); Memento Luxe Nautical Blue ink (Tsukineko); Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); Collecting Moments 6x6 paper pad (Fancy Pants); stitched circle die (Lil' Inker Designs); circle punch (EK Success); corrugated star; foam tape
