Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 244-Thank You

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  With 18 parent-teacher conferences to prep for in the next two days, I kept things simple on this one and let the patterned paper do most of the work!

Thank You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Avery Elle
I picked a fun chevron-ish pattern from a Fancy Pants paper pad.  It's adhered to a kraft card base and topped with a mint green circle.  I stamped the "thank you" sentiment from Avery Elle's Fabulous Florals stamp set on a teal fishtail flag strip in brown pigment ink, then added that on top.  I love the font used in this set!  A few sparkly yellow sequins finished the design.  Deciding on the placement of those sequins took longer (a lot longer . . .) than the entire rest of the card did!

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:

  5. LOVE this Lori! That paper is FAB and I love the font on the sentiment too! Placing my sequins or enamel dots takes me FOREVER. I like things lined up so it hurts me to put them "randomly" lol!!
