Warm Wishes

I put together this sweet holiday card for this week's Muse challenge.  I was inspired by the layout and the woodland theme of the inspiration card.

Warm Wishes card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Avery Elle
For my version, I used a snowy backdrop on the tag instead of a woodgrain one. The silvery snow is courtesy of silver embossing paste and a dot stencil.  The deer is from Avery Elle's Storybook set--love it!  I used dimensional dots to attach the deer to the tag to set it off a bit from the background.  I threaded some white ribbon through the top of the tag and secured it with gray twine.  It was adhered over a smaller red patterned paper tag on a gray cardstock panel.  I stamped the "warm wishes" sentiment from Avery Elle's Be Jolly set in black ink on a red cardstock strip and added it to the cardfront, just underneath the deer's feet.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers:  Avery Elle Storybook and Be Jolly stamp sets, Storybook dies; Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Fancy Pants Everyday Circus 6x6 paper pad; May Arts white ribbonSticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Steel Grey cardstock, Traditional Tag Stax dies (My Favorite Things); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); silver embossing paste (Dreamweaver); gray twine (Hemptique)
