Be Jolly

Here's a cute snowman tag for the current Card Concept challenge.  My tag was made in the clean and layered style.

Be Jolly tag-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Avery Elle
The snowman is from Avery Elle's Be Jolly set.  He was stamped on shimmery white cardstock for a sparkly, snow-like look and colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the matching die.   After adding a hand cut shimmery white cardstock snowbank to the bottom of a navy tag, I placed the snowman image on top using dimensional dots.

The set's "be jolly" sentiment was stamped in white pigment ink, then heat embossed in White Pearl embossing powder.  I was going to stamp some snowflakes around the image, but decided to go with white sequins instead.  A red striped twill ribbon, secured with a twine bow, topped off the tag.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers:  Avery Elle Be Jolly stamp set and Be Jolly dies; Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Memento Luxe Wedding Dress ink; Wow White Pearl embossing powder; Hemptique Bronze twine; white sequins; Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Night of Navy and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); markers (Copic); Traditional Tag Stax die (My Favorite Things); red striped twill (May Arts)
