Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 249-You're Brilliant

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge!  I took a break from creating holiday cards and instead went for a fun, cheery design using stamps and dies from My Favorite Things.

You're Brilliant card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
I cut my angled panel for the top of the card from a piece of yellow grid patterned paper.  After matting it on silver paper, I adhered it to a dark gray panel.  I topped the panel with a die cut light bulb, using a piece of gray twine that extends from the top of the bulb to the top of the panel to anchor it.

The "you're brilliant"sentiment from the My Favorite Things Watt's Up set was stamped at the bottom of the gray panel in silver ink, then heat embossed in silver for more sparkle.  I matted the panel on yellow cardstock, then adhered it to a white card base.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
