Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 257-More Than All the Stars in the Sky

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  I used the sketch's large panel to make a simple scene with stamps and dies from Mama Elephant.

More than All the Stars in the Sky card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Mama Elephant
Instead of making a straight diagonal across the large panel, I used one of ME's Landscape Trio dies to make a hill from green cardstock.   I layered the die cut piece on to a piece of blue striped cardstock.  The little girl from the Shooting Star set was stamped on white cardstock, colored with Copic markers and die cut, then adhered to the scene with foam tape.  I stamped one of the set's sentiments on the patterned paper portion of the panel in gold ink, then heat embossed it in gold for a nice pop against the pattern.

I matted the finished scene on light blue cardstock. then adhered it to a teal card base.  I cut a small gold star using the star die from the Shooting Star die set and attached it to the left side of the scene using foam tape.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
