Here's to You

Here's my second take on the current color and sketch combo at The Challenge.  There's still time to play along if you're inspired!  You can find all the details here.

Here's to You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Clear and Simple StampsThis time, I went with a celebratory card using stamps and dies from Clear and Simple Stamps.  I stamped the martini glass image from the By the Glass set on a matching die cut, then colored the image with Copic markers.  The glass was adhered to a white cardstock panel over a pair of fishtail flag strips.  To give the design a festive feel, I wrapped a little silver thread behind the image and added a few silver sequins around the panel.  I stamped the "here's to you" sentiment from the By the Glass Sentiments set near the bottom of the card in gray ink.  The finished panel was adhered to a gray card base.

Speaking of Clear and Simple Stamps, they'll be holding a special event this weekend in Allentown, PA.  They'll be having a special pop up shop with a bunch of fun make and takes.  It sounds like a great event--I wish I could make it!  If you're interested in attending, you can find all the details here.
