More Than Puppy Love

I couldn't resist this sweet new dog themed stamp set from Sugar Pea Designs.  As soon as it arrived, I inked it up for the current Sugar Sketch.

More Than Puppy Love card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Sugar Pea Designs I colored up a pair of puppies using my Copic markers, then carefully cut them out.  They're adhered to a patterned paper panel over a strip of "grass" using foam tape for dimension.  The set's tiny red heart was stamped between them in red pigment ink.

I matted the image panel on contrasting red cardstock, then adhered it to a pale blue cardstock panel.  The set's "more than puppy love" sentimeknt was stamped at the bottom of the blue panel, again in red pigment ink.  I accented the image panel with a die cut red heart.  The finished panel was adhered to a red cardstoc panel over a piece of XOXO patterned paper, then attached to a gray card base.

Materials Used:
Hot Diggity Dog stamp set (Sugar Pea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Cherry ink, Sea Glass cardstock (Avery Elle); markers (Copic); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Steel Grey cardstock (My Favorite Things); Spring Moss cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Head Over Heels 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); patterned paper (Michaels); stitched heart die (Lil' Inker Designs); grass border punch (Fiskars); corner rounder
