You Make Life Sparkle

Here's my card for the current Sparkle and Shine challenge.  I used the sketch along with Winnie &Walter stamps and lots of metallic sparkly elements.

You Make Life Sparkle card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Winnie & Walter
My focal image is a pair of embossed images from Winnie & Walter's Sparkle stamp set.  I stamped the silver sparkle image first, then added the rings of gold stars on top.  Now that I look at it again, I think I should have used the reverse of the big sparkle image to stamp a pale (stamped off) gold circle behind the images before embossing them.  The set's "you make life sparkle" sentiment was stamped beneath it in my favorite gold ink--Delicata Golden Glitz.  I hear that there are a few new colors coming out in the Delicata line and I can't wait to try them, too!

After matting the image panel on silver paper, I adhered it to a white and gold cardstock panel.  For even more sparkle and shine, I added a bunch of gold and silver sequins around the image panel, varying the size for interest.  The finished panel was adhered to a contrasting black card base.

Materials Used:
Sparkle stamp set (Winnie & Walter); Delicata Golden Glitz and Silvery Shimmer inks (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); gold and silver paper (Target); Die-namics Pierced Rectangle Stax die (My Favorite Things); silver and gold cardstock (Michaels); silver and gold sequins
