Color Throwdown 339-You're Brilliant

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Joan is our hostess this week and she's chosen a classic, bold color combination--black, white, and yellow.

You're Brilliant card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
I used the colors along with a loose interpretation of the current sketch at Retro Sketches and stamps and dies from My Favorite Things for this encouraging design.  I die cut the slanted panel from black cardstock using one of MFT's Blueprints dies and adhered it to the top of a white panel.  The panel was topped with a bright yellow lightbulb, cut with MFT's lightbulb die.  I stamped the "you're brilliant" sentiment from the Watt's Up? set at the bottom of the panel in black ink.  The finished panel was adhered to a yellow card base.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD339. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd339 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram (and on Facebook!) with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, our April guestie, Karen Giron, and this week’s guest star stamper, Simonne Clay.
