I Love You More Than Chocolate

Here's my card for April's first Viva la Verve sketch challenge. I used another new Verve set, Chocolate, for this sweet design.

I Love You More Than Chocolate card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps
I used Verve's Rounded Scallop Frame die for my sentiment panel.  The "I love you more than chocolate" sentiment was stamped in brown ink on the vanilla panel that I set inside the frame. I accented the panel with a pair of hearts die cut with the Heart Quartet die.  The hearts were adhered with foam tape for a little dimension.

I adhered the sentiment panel to a brown card base covered with a pink and kraft chevron patterned paper panel and a wide dark brown fishtail flag strip.  I topped the card with a pair of layered scalloped strips wrapped with a bit of twine.

Materials Used:
Chocolate stamp set, Rounded Scallop Frame and Heart Quartet dies (Verve Stamps); Memento Rich Cocoa ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Pixie cardstock (Avery Elle); Chocolate Chip cardstock, scallop edge punch (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); Chalk Studio 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); Die-namics Fishtail Flag Stax die (My Favorite Things); twine (Hemptique); foam tape
