Paper Smooches SPARKS-I Wet My Plants

*** Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! ***

This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is an anything goes challenge.  I used the new Twiggy Florets set along with my Copic markers to create this easy to mail punny card for the challenge.

I'm So Excited card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper SmoochesI stamped the flower pot first, then masked it with a sticky note and added the pair of flowers and a single leaf.  I colored the images with my Copic markers, adding a little shading underneath the flower pot.  The colors I used for the flowers feel a little fall-like to me, but I like how they look with the flower pot.

One of the set's sentiments was stamped just next to the flower pot in black ink.  To balance the design, I punched half a circle from olive green cardstock and adhered the piece to the left side of the panel.  It was accented with a pair of copper brads.  I adhered the finished panel to a kraft card base.

Don’t miss what the rest of the SPARKS team has created this week. Here’s where to find them:
