Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 266-You Rock My World

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  I've had the coordinating Gemstones and Gemstone Sentiments stamp sets from Clear and Simple Stamps for a while now and I decided to ink them up for this simple, sparkly design.

You Rock My World card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Clear and Simple Stamps
I stamped two of the gem images on CSS's Sterling Silver cardstock, then carefully cut them out and adhered them to a round panel using foam tape. After matting the panel on silver cardstock, I adhered it to a white panel.  The "you rock my world" sentiment was stamped in black ink on a super narrow Favor Flag die cut, then attached to the panel just beneath the pair of gems.  To accent the gems, I found a trio of sparkly silver enamel dots to arrange around the panel.  I adhered the finished panel to a contrasting black card base.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on the SSSC blog.  Be sure to stop by the blog to check out what the SSSC team has created using the sketch.  And, don't forget to check in on Wednesday to see one of our favorite cards made with the sketch.

Materials Used:
Gemstones and Gemstone Sentiments stamp sets, Perfect Little Black Dress, A Blanc Check, and Sterling Silver cardstock, Shapes:  Circles and Favor Flags dies (Clear and Simple Stamps); Versafine Onyx Black ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); silver enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
