The Challenge 34-Thank You

The Challenge is back again with a new challenge!  This week we've got a color challenge featuring sunny yellow, orange, and green.

Floral Thank You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Avery ElleI paired the colors with the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to make a floral thank you card.  I used Avery Elle's Fabulous Floral stamp set and matching dies to create a bunch of orange and yellow flowers and green leaves.  After mixing and matching the images for a while, I settled on the arrangement you see here.  The two larger flowers were adhered with foam tape for dimension.

I "auditioned" sentiments from several other Avery Elle sets, including Handwritten Notes and Oh Happy Day, before settling on the "thank you" from the Many Thanks set.  I did stamp it with the words stacked on top of each other instead of in a single line, which was easy to do with the clear stamp.

After matting the sentiment panel on yellow cardstock, I adhered it to a yellow patterned paper panel over a pair of long fishtail flag strips I hand cut from scrap cardstock.  The finished panel was adhered to an easy to write on white card base.

Don't miss what the rest of The Challenge team and our talented guest designers have created for this week's color challenge. Here's where to find them:
