More Than Chocolate

Here's my card for the current Viva la Verve sketch challenge.  I used Verve's Chocolate set and coordinating die for a super sweet love themed design.

More than Chocolate card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Verve Stamps
I arranged the pair of tilted panels--one solid brown and one pink patterned--on a kraft card base.  The patterned panel was topped with half of a paper doily.  I wrapped the cardfront with a piece of brown grosgrain ribbon from my scrap pile and secured with a bow.  I topped the layered panels with the sentiment panel.  I stamped the "I love you more than" in brown ink on the white panel, then added the die cut "chocolate" beneath it.  For dimension, I die cut the word three times, then stacked the die cuts before adhering them to the panel.  I finished the card with a light pink heart, cut with Verve's Heart Quartet dies.

Materials Used:
Chocolate stamp set, Chocolate Word and Heart Quartet dies (Verve Stamps); Memento Rich Cocoa ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette cardstock, Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); Cut and Paste "Adorbs" 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); white paper doily; corner rounder; foam tape
