Mojo 405-Always on My Mind

Happy Monday!  It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch and it's my first full week of work at my new job, too.  Lots of excitement around here today!

I had colored up a pair of butterflies from Verve's Blue Skies set last week, but only one made it on to a card.  The pretty yellow one was still on my table, so I designed this card around it.  I paired the butterfly with papers in shades of grays and yellow.  The dotted patterned paper is from an older patterned paper pad--I'm really making an effort to use up some of the older papers I've had for what seems like forever . . .

I stamped the "you're always on my mind" sentiment from the Always on My Mind set on a pale gray circle and added that to the card, then used foam tape to set the butterfly image at the edge of the panel.  I finished the design with a pretty crystal flourish used as a flight trail for the butterfly.

Don't forget--since it's the first Monday of the month, it's also contest time.  A stamp set from Verve Stamps is up for grabs from the lucky contest winners, so be sure to play along.  Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!
