Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 276-You Make My Heart Melt

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  This week, we're revisiting the fabulous SSSC archives.  You can find all of the pas sketches HERE.  I loved sketch #264, so I used the sketch again, but with a new to me stamp set, Penguin Paradise from My Favorite Things.

You Make My Heart Melt card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
I stamped the popsicle holding penguin on a matching die cut piece, then colored the image with Copic markers.  I used foam tape to adhere the colored image to a yellow pierced circle die cut.

I adhered the pierced circle panel to an aqua card base over a strip of rainbow patterned paper and an angled strip of bright pink cardstock.  I tucked a golden yellow pierced fishtail flag strip beneath the bottom edge of the angled strip.   The set's "You make my heart melt" sentiment fit perfectly on the pink panel.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on the SSSC blog.  Be sure to stop by the blog to check out what the SSSC team has created using the sketch.  And, don't forget to check in on Wednesday to see one of our favorite cards made with the sketch.

Penguin Paradise stamp set, Die-namics Penguin Paradise, Pierced Circle Stax ,and Pierced Fishtail Flag Stax dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Hawaiian Shores, Harvest Gold, and Hibiscus Burst cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Springtime 6x6 paper pad (Doodlebug Design); foam tape
