Baby Boy

Here’s my card for this week’s My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I kept things simple and stuck pretty closely to the sketch with this mostly monochromatic baby card.

Baby Boy card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
I used one of MFT’s Pierced Square Stax dies to cut four squares from white cardstock. Each square was topped with a teeny, tiny dotted blue onesie cut with a die from the Notched Tag die set. After matting the squares with blue cardstock, I arranged them in a 2x2 grid on a light blue card base. The “baby boy” sentiment from the Notched Tag Sentiments set was stamped in navy pigment ink on a narrow blue cardstock strip and adhered to the cardfront just beneath the grid of images.

Materials Used:
Notched Tag Sentiments stamp set, Die-namics Notched Tags and Pierced Circle Stax dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Luxe Nautical Blue ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Brocade Blue and Bashful Blue cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Spring Rain patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); square punch (EK Success)
