Watt's Up?

Here's my card for the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  I scaled the layout's elements down just a bit to work with the big die cut lightbulb I created using MFT's Lightbulb die.

Watt's Up card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from My Favorite Things
The lightbulb was die cut from yellow cardstock.  I added the filament and base in silver and used a white vellum layer to soften the yellow's "glow."  The finished bulb was adhered to a white stitched edge rectangle panel over a silver circle with the same stitched detailing.  I stamped the "watt's up?" sentiment on light gray paper using black ink, then added the words to the panel just beneath the bulb.  A bunch of different sized silver sequins were arranged around the panel for a bit of sparkle.  The finished panel was adhered to a yellow cardstock mat, then layered on to a pale gray card base.

Materials Used:
Watt's Up stamp set, Grout Gray cardstock, Die-namics Lightbulb and Blueprints 24 dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Yoyo Yellow cardstock, white vellum (Stampin' Up!); silver paper (Target); circle die (Spellbinders); stitched circle die (Lil' Inker Designs); silver sequins; foam tape
