Fall Thanks

Here's my "colors of fall" inspired card for this month's Monthly Meetup Challenge at Lil' Inker Designs.  I used the new Seen on Halloween dies to create a pair of fabulous fall pumpkins for my focal image.

Fall Thanks card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
I die cut the pumpkin shape first, then went back and used the matching stitched dies to add the detailing on the shapes.  For even more depth and texture, I used ink daubers to add orange and brown inks to the edges of the die cuts.  After adding the die cut stems and leaves, I arranged the pumpkins on a kraft stitched rectangle die cut.  The "thanks" sentiment from the Just Sayin' Sentiments set was stamped at the bottom of the panel in brown pigment ink.  I wrapped the top of the panel with some thick twine, then adhered it to a cream card base over strips of olive and chocolate brown cardstock.  The chocolate strip was accented with a pair of warm copper brads to give a little shine to the design.

Materials Used:
Just Sayin' Sentiments stamp set, Seen on Halloween and Stitched Rectangle dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Tangelo and Toffee Crunch inks and Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, and Old Olive cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); twine (Lawn Fawn); copper brads (Michaels); foam tape
