Color Throwdown 365-Love You

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Broni is our hostess this week and she's sharing a bold color combination--red, fuchsia, black, and white.  With bold colors like these, I decided to keep things simple and did just that with this layout from CAS(e) this Sketch.

Love You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
I used my MISTI to repeatedly stamp the "love you" sentiment from the Lil' Inker Designs Mom and Dad Sentiment set on a white panel.  The MISTI made it so easy to stagger the placement of the words and to still stamp them straight!  The sentiment block was topped with a pair of die cut stitched edge hearts. To bring in the sparkle of those fabulous shoes, I wrapped a bit of silver thread behind the hearts

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD365. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd365 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram (and on Facebook!) with the username colorthrowdown.

Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, our October guestie Michelle Boyer, and this week’s guest star stamper, Lin Brandyberry.

  3. Don't you just love the MISTI?! Your sentiment is perfection! I initially thought of a heart theme with these colors, but went with flowers in the end. Love your CAS design!
