Sparkly Warm Winter Wishes

Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  I put together a wintery design in shades of blue.

Wam Winter Wishes card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
I built the design on a shimmery blue stitched rectangle panel.  The rectangle was topped with a bunch of snowflakes cut from shimmery white cardstock using MFT's Snowflake Trio die.  I dug through my MFT sets to find a good wintery sentiment and finally settled on "warm winter wishes" from the Pure Innocence Holiday Hugs Snowman set.  The sentiment was stamped in silver ink on a navy fishtail flag strip, then heat embossed in silver for extra pop.  After placing the snowflakes and sentiment, I scattered a bunch of silver sequins around for a festive sparkle.  The finished panel was adhered to a navy card base.

Materials Used:
Pure Innocence Holiday Hugs Snowman stamp set, Die-namics Blueprints 25, Fishtail Flag Stax, and Snowflake Trio dies (My Favorite Things); Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Night of Navy and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); shimmery blue paper (Target); silver embossing powder (American Crafts); silver sequins
