SugarPea Designs November Sweet Peek Week-Day 1

*** Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Mojo Monday sketch and contest!***

Welcome to the start of Sweet Peek Week for the November release at SugarPea Designs!  Today we're sharing a first look at the new Merry Makers stamp set and coordinating SugarCuts Merry Makers dies.

May Your Christmas Be Merry and Bright card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs
The layout I used for my card is from the current sketch at Match the Sketch, flipped around on its side.  I colored up one of the elves using Copic markers, then cut him out using the matching die.  It's hard to see in the photo, but I added some Glossy Accents to the light bulbs to give them a glass-like look and put a bit of white flock on the pom pom at the top of his hat.  Once he was finished, I used foam tape to adhere him to a white Sugar Cuts Zig Zag Stitched Circle die cut.

I covered an easy to write on white card base with some red patterned paper, then attached a strip of shiny silver paper to the right side of the panel.  The image panel was set on top along with a notched banner strip with the set's "may your Christmas be merry and bright" stamped on it.  A trio of sparkly silver enamel dots arranged around the image completed the design.

Remember our entire Holiday Product Release will be available for purchase in the SugarPea Designs Store on Friday, November 6th at 6:00 PM EST!

  19. I'm trying to decide if this little guy is a cheerleader, one of those guys who brings in the planes er sleigh, or is just really happy he found those particular bulbs. Which ever it is you nailed it on the coloring and card layout.
