The Challenge 58-You Brighten My Day

*** Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Mojo Monday sketch! ***

The Challenge is back with a new challenge!   Since it's the fourth week of the month, this week we've got a masculine inspiration challenge for you to try. I took my cues from the photo's color scheme and the vintage car's large headlight.

You Brighten My Day card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches
Here's my interpretation using the Paper Smooches We Totally Click stamp set.  I used a mix of shiny Delicata inks and Memento marker to ink the set's lamp image.  Once the image was stamped, I carefully colored in the bulb with Copic markers, then die cut the finished image.

I used foam tape to adhere the image to a distressed grid patterned paper panel with an orange Flag Tag die cut placed over it.  I stamped the "you brighten my day" sentiment next to the lamp, then accented the words with a trio of orange enamel dots.  The finished panel was adhered to a teal card base.

Check out what the rest of the talented team at The Challenge has created based on this week's masculine inspiration photo.  Here's where to find them:
