SugarPea Designs 2nd Birthday Bash Blog Hop

Happy Birthday pop up box card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs

SugarPea Designs is celebrating its 2nd birthday today and you're invited to join in on the fun!

I put together a fun pop up box card for the birthday celebration.  My box features a simple scene made with the Prehistoric Pals stamp set and coordinating SugarCuts dies.  I used a small circle from the Zig Zag Stitched Circles die set to make a sun for the background behind the dino and tree and added in a hand cut cloud.  The "happy birthday" sentiment was stamped on the box's front flap.  A bit of knotted brown ribbon draws attention to the sentiment while still letting the card fold down flat for easy mailing and gifting.

It wouldn't be a party without gifts and we've got plenty of those.  First, one lucky person who comments on all of the blogs in our celebration hop will win a $100 SugarPea Designs gift certificate!  And, we want you to join in on the birthday fun, so we're also hosting a link up blog hop that you can play along in.  Just upload your birthday themed card to the SPD blog HERE.  One hop participant will win a Heidi Swapp Mini Minc machine!  The blog hop and link up will end at midnight on March 11.  Winners will be announced on the SPD blog on March 14.

The final gift is a discount code for you to use in the SPD store.  Use the code BDAY02 for 10% off of your order (through March 7).

Here's the list of talented designers celebrating this special event with SPD.  Be sure and hop on by to visit all of them:
