Mojo Monday 442-I Simply Adore You

I Simply Adore You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps

Happy Monday!  It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch.  I inked up Verve's Simply Amazing set for my take on the sketch.  It is quickly becoming one of my favorite sets, along with the coordinating Amazing Adjectives dies.

I built the card around a chevron patterned scrap of paper I found on my desk.  After trimming the panel down a bit and matting it on coordinating green cardstock, I adhered the panel to the edge of a pale green cardstock panel.  I topped it with a coordinating panel of blue-gray cardstock and a long, narrow green fishtail flag strip.  The "I simply adore you" sentiment was stamped in kraft colored ink on a cream pierced circle die cut.  I added that to the panel and accented it with a pair of kraft hearts cut with Verve's Heart Quartet die.  The finished panel was adhered to a green card base.

Don't forget--since it's the first Monday of the month, it's also contest time.  A stamp set from Verve Stamps is up for grabs from the lucky contest winners, so be sure to play along.  Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!  You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:
