Mojo Monday 445-You're a Tea-riffic Mom

You're a Tea-riffic Mom card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn

Happy Monday!  It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch.  Since it's the last week of the month, we're switching things up a bit and featuring a layout designed for a round or square card.  I went with a 4 1/4" square card for my Mother's Day design.

In my version, I replaced the small round panel with the teapot and teacup from Lawn Fawn's Best Pun Ever stamp set.  The images were colored with Copic markers and cut with the matching die, then adhered to the sentiment panel using foam tape.  The words were stamped with the help of my MISTI.  It makes lining up all of those separate, tiny words so easy!  I matted the sentiment panel with darker gray cardstock.  The panel was placed on a pale gray card base covered with a piece of pale gray paper with a subtle, elegant pattern. The red cardstock strip across the center of the panel adds a pop of contrasting color and coordinates with the teapot and teacup images, too.  I meant to add a tiny bit of a pearl flourish extending out from the teapot's spout to make steam, but forgot it before I took the photo . . .

Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!  You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:
