SugarPea Designs April Sweet Peek Week-Day 3

Welcome to day 3 of April's Sweet Peek Week at SugarPea Designs!  Today we're showing off more of the new stamps, dies, and other goodies that will be available in the SPD store on Friday, April 15 at 6 PM EST.

Today we're introducing the new Pineapple Paradise stamp set and coordinating SugarCuts Pineapple Paradise die.  Pineapples are a big trend in all things crafty right now and I'm so excited that SPD has added a pineapple themed set to its lineup!  Here, I stamped the pineapple image two times using pigment inks, then cut the images out with the matching die.  I used foam tape to adhere the two pineapples to a kraft panel with an angled patterned paper panel at the bottom.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the spots on the green patterned paper are a shiny gold.  So pretty!   Since the pineapple is a traditional symbol for hospitality, it seemed appropriate to make this a thank you card.  I stamped the set's "thanks" sentiment above the pineapples in green pigment ink.  The finished panel was adhered to a golden yellow card base.
Want to win the brand new Pineapple Paradise stamp set for yourself?  Of course you do!  Leave a comment on today's post on the SPD blog telling us where you find your paradise.  You have all week to comment.  Winners from our April product release will be announced on Sunday, April 24.  And, for an extra entry for today's giveaway, leave a comment on each SPD designer's blog, too.  Here's where to find them:

  10. I like this card so much. You are right about the pineapple = hospitality, so it's perfect for a thank you card. I love the gold polka dots for a little sparkle.
