To One of My Favorite People

As soon as I saw the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch, I thought of a perfectly wrapped present.  This card came out exactly like I pictured it in my mind.  I love when that happens!

To One of My Favorite People card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Clear and Simple Stamps
I started out by covering a pink card front with a piece of pink dotted patterned paper.  I adhered narrow strips of shiny silver paper across the cardfront.  A sweet matching bow, cut with the Bow Trio Mini die from Clear and Simple Stamps was placed at the intersection of the two silver strips. With these pieces in place, the card looks just like a gift wrapped box!

I stamped the birthday sentiment from CSS's All Wrapped Up set on the panel in gray ink with the help of my MISTI.  I knew I'd want to double-stamp the words so that they'd show up well against the patterned background and the MISTI made it easy to do that perfectly.

Materials Used:
All Wrapped Up stamp set, I'm a Princess Pink and Sterling Silver cardstock, Bow Trio Mini dies (Clear and Simple Stamps); Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); pink dotted patterned paper (Michaels)
