Whale Hello card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Avery Elle
For my take on the challenge, I focused on elements from two of the pillows--the one with the whales and the one with a light blue pattern. The layout is based on the current sketch at Can You Case It.

I found a piece of blue patterned paper that reminded me of the pillow's pattern in an old patterned paper pad.  Using a pair of circle punches, I created a wavy look at the top of the panel.  I adhered it to a gray cardstock panel, bringing in the gray seen in the photo.

I used one of the whales from Avery Elle's Whale Hello set as my focal image.  I colored the image with Copic markers and cut it out with the matching die, then used foam tape to adhere it to the panel.  I did a little creative stamping for the sentiment since the set doesn't have a "whale hello" sentiment, even though that's it's name!  My "hello" came from the Sentimental stamp set.  After I stamped it, I went back and added the smaller "whale" from one of the set's sentiment stamps.  The finished panel was adhered to a blue card base.
