Wishing You a Rainbow of Happiness

Here's my card for this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  It's a pretty loose interpretation of the sketch, but I think you can see how it inspired me if you look closely!

Rainbow of Happiness card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
Instead of using a pair of round offset panels, I used the stitched rainbow and cloud dies from My Favorite Things.  I arranged the rainbow strips on a blue dotted panel, then added the cloud on top.  The cloud is cut from shimmery white cardstock.  You can't see the shimmer in the photo, but it looks so nice IRL.  The "wishing you a rainbow of happiness" sentiment was stamped on the cloud in black ink.  I slid a narrow shimmery silver cardstock strip beneath the cloud so that it stretched across the width of the card.  The shimmer on the cloud and silver strip make this cheerful design a good fit for the current Simon Says Stamp Add Shimmer challenge.

Materials Used:
Rainbow of Happiness stamp set, Die-namics End of the Rainbow dies (My Favorite Things); Versafine Onyx Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Real Red, Only Orange, Yoyo Yellow, Green Galore, Pacific Point, Lovely Lilac, Bashful Blue, and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Spring Rain patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); silver cardstock (Michaels); foam tape
