The Challenge 80-A Bad Case of Missing You


The Challenge is back with a new challenge!   Since it's the first week of the month, this week's rotation features a sketch challenge.

A Bad Case of Missing You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from WPlus9I made a missing you themed card featuring the Get Well Crew stamp set from WPlus9.  This doctor dog image has been colored and hanging out on my table for a while now.  I used foam tape to adhere him to the layered round panels, then adhered him to a kraft panel with a strip of red chevron patterned paper along the top.  I was thinking that the chevron kind of mimicked the pattern on a heart monitor . . . 

I stamped the set's "it's a bad case of missing you" sentiment on a red fishtail flag strip.  I tucked the stamped strip and a plain cream one underneath the edge of the round panel.  The image was accented with a pair of red die cut hearts.
