Mojo Monday 477-Jolly Jingles

Jolly Jingles card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps
Happy Monday!  It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch.  I used the sketch along with stamps from a recent Verve release, Jolly Jingles, for my card.

I started out by stamping and coloring a pair of festive stockings.  After coloring, I cut out the images with the coordinating Winter Friends dies.  It's hard to see in the photo, but I colored in the little bells on the stockings with silver gel pen and used white flock to add a fluffy top.  The stockings were adhered to a cream pierced rectangle panel stamped with the set's coordinating stockings sentiment, using foam tape for dimension.

I made a background for the sentiment from a piece of patterned paper and a coordinating solid cardstock panel.  After setting a red cardstock strip across the cardfront, I added the sentiment panel on top.

Don't forget--since it's the first Monday of the month, it's also contest time.  A stamp set from Verve Stamps is up for grabs from the lucky contest winners, so be sure to play along.  Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!  You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:

And, just a note--this will be our final Mojo Monday sketch for 2016.  The Mojo Makers will be taking a holiday vacation for the rest of the month.  We'll return with a new sketch on Monday, January 2, 2017.  Hope you'll join us!
