A Latte Birthday Wishes

I need to add a few more birthday cards to my stash.  The birthday sentiment and latte image from the Lil' Inker Designs Latte Love set are the perfect combination for a winter birthday design!  I paired them with this month's Sip and Share sketch at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog.

I stamped the solid mug first, using aquamarine pigment ink, then filled in the artful beverage using kraft pigment ink.  After cutting out the image with the matching die, I used foam tape to adhere it to a kraft panel.  A little bit of a brown crystal flourish was adhered to the panel, extending out from the mug, and positioned to look like steam.  The "a latte birthday wishes" sentiment was stamped above the image in brown pigment ink.  I rubbed the edges of the panel with a bit of distress ink to give the panel some warmth and interest.   I wrapped the panel with some thick twine and secured it with a simple bow.  The finished panel was adhered to a dark brown card base.

Materials Used:
Latte Love stamp set, Latte Love dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Luxe Toffee Crunch and Rich Cocoa inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Aquamarine pigment ink (Avery Elle); Tea Dye distress ink (Ranger); Chocolate Chip cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); brown crystal flourish (Want2Scrap); twine (Lawn Fawn); foam tape
