Mojo Monday 481-Smooches
Happy Monday! It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch. I paired the sketch with an image waiting on my desk that I colored back in November as part of the Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
The cow from Avery Elle's Hogs and Kisses set was colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the matching die. I stamped the "smooches" sentiment on the heart--I just can't resist a pun-filled stamp set! I used foam tape to adhere the cow to a cream pierced square die cut. Once I'd done that, I needed to pick out paper for the rectangular panel that would sit beneath the image. After settling on the pretty plaid with shades of pink, red, gray, and blue, I was ready to wrap up the card. I added half of a large paper doily to a coordinating blue cardstock panel, then placed the matted plaid rectangle on top. The image panel was matted on the same rosy pink cardstock as the plaid panel, then layered on top of the doily and plaid panel. The finished panel was adhered to a cream card base.
