You're Awesome

Here's my card for the current sketch at Match the Sketch.  I had colored up the card's unicorn image for November's Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge and finally found the perfect layout for showing it off!

You're Awesome card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches
The unicorn is from the Paper Smooches Spectrum set.  I colored it in a combination of shades I don't usually use--I do like how it turned out!  The image was cut out with the matching Spectrum Icons die.  It's hard to see in the photo, but I added a little magical sparkle to the unicorn's mane and tail with a clear glitter pen.  The image was adhered to a pale blue panel using foam tape.  To ground the image, I used the cloud dies from the Spectrum Icons set to cut a trio of shimmery white clouds to arrange at the base of the panel.  The set's "you're awesome" sentiment was stamped on one of the clouds in dark pink pigment ink.  I tucked a bright pink banner die cut with the Flag Tags dies underneath the right edge of the image panel, then adhered the panel to a pale pink cardstock panel. The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating bright pink card base.

Materials Used:
Spectrum stamp set, Spectrum Icons and Flag Tags dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black and Memento Luxe Rose Bud inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Pink Lemonade cardstock (My Favorite Things); Mist cardstock (Reverse Confetti); Raspberry Fizz cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); foam tape
