Bundle of Joy

Here's my card for the current Lawnfawnatics "Outstanding Occasions" challenge.  I made a sweet baby card with lots of dimension using a classic Lawn Fawn set, Plus One.

Bundle of Joy card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
For the background, I used a cloud template, distress inks, and ink applicators to create a sky and grass filled panel.  To fill in the sky, I used die cut pieces made with the Spring Showers dies (sun and clouds).  The pieces were arranged using foam tape to add dimension to the design.  Once the pieces were in place, I added the stork image from the Plus One set.  The stork was colored with markers and, instead of coloring it, his special delivery was paper pieced with a scrap of striped paper fished out of my scrap pile.  Several sentiments from the set were combined to get the "congrats on your bundle of joy" stamped at the bottom of the scene.  The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating green card base.

Materials Used:
Plus One stamp set, Spring Showers dies (Lawn Fawn); Peacock Feathers and Peeled Paint distress inks (Ranger); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Green Parakeet and Bright Buttercup cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); cloud template; foam tape
