Mojo Monday 496-Hello Friend

Hello Friend card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from The Stamp Market
Happy Monday!  It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch.  I flipped the layout on its side and used text stamps and dies to put together a mostly monochromatic design.

The large panel is filled in with a large text "hello" from The Stamp Market's Hello Hello set.  I used my MISTI to stamp the word, first stamping the striped "hello" in dark pink ink, then lining up the solid "hello" to match and stamping it in pale pink pigment ink.  To finish the sentiment, I die cut the delicate word "friend" from bright pink cardstock and craft foam using the Scripty Hello dies. After layering the two die cut pieces, I placed them on the stamped panel, overlapping the text just a bit.  I matted the panel on bright pink cardstock, then placed it on a pale pink card base over a piece of dotted pink patterned paper and a pair of staggered banner dies.

Don't forget--since it's the first Monday of the month, it's also contest time.  A stamp set from Verve Stamps is up for grabs from the lucky contest winners, so be sure to play along.  Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!  You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:
