You're Appreciated

You're Appreciated card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
Another day, another teacher appreciation card!  This one is based on the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and uses the Apple Shaker dies and Teacher Talk stamp set from Lil' Inker Designs.  I die cut the large apple, leaf, and stem from cardstock scraps and assembled the apple from the die cut pieces, then used foam tape to adhere the apple to a kraft card base.  To add interest, I tucked a red striped panel beneath the apple to set it off from the card base.  The "you're appreciated" sentiment was stamped on a narrow strip of cream cardstock, then adhered to the cardfront, overlapping the bottom of the striped red strip.  Such an easy design to quickly reproduce!

Materials Used:
Teacher Talk stamp set, Apple Shaker dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Real Red and Chocolate Chip cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Simply Chartreuse and Kraft cardstock, Pure Poppy patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); foam tape

  1. Perfect use of the sketch with your apple. Love the bit of stripe grounding it. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
