Baby

Baby card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea DesignsI used the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches to put together this sweet monochromatic baby themed design.  I built the design on a pale pink cardstock panel.  After wrapping the panel with a strip of wide pink grosgrain ribbon rescued from my scrap pile, I placed a white circle on top for my focal image.  The circle was filled in with a pink dotted baby onesie, stamped with an image from the SugarPea Designs Welcome Baby stamp set and cut out with the coordinating die from the Baby Diaper Pin die set.

Instead of stamping a sentiment, I die cut the word "baby" from a piece of pale pink textured cardstock and craft foam.  I layered the two die cut pieces, then adhered them to the panel, overlapping both the ribbon and image panel.  I accented the image and text with a trio of white enamel dots.  The finished panel was adhered to a white card base.

Materials Used:
Welcome Baby stamp set, Baby Diaper Pin dies (SugarPea Designs); Bubblegum cardstock (My Favorite Things); pink textured cardstock (Bazzill); Recollections Pink Tonal Dots designer paper, pink grosgrain ribbon (Michaels); circle dies (Spellbinders); craft foam; foam tape
