You're Plane Awesome

Plane Awesome card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
Here's my card for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge to make a scene.  I made a simple scene featuring Lawn Fawn's Plane and Simple stamp set.  My background was created with distress oxides mixed with water on a watercolor paper panel.  While the panel dried, I stamped and colored the plane image and die cut the clouds and grass.  Before adding the scene's elements, I used the Stitched Trail dies to cut a dotty flight trail into the background panel.  The plane, grass, and clouds were added on top, using foam tape on some pieces for dimension.  The set's "you're plane awesome" sentiment was stamped in  the bottom right corner. I adhered the finished panel to a coordinating teal card base.  I have another scene idea brewing in my head, so you just might see another scene-y card later this week . . .

Materials Used:
Plane and Simple stamp set, Plane and Simple and Stitched Trail dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Faded Jeans and Broken China distress oxides (Ranger); Kiwi Kiss, Taken with Teal, and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Landscape Trio dies (Mama Elephant); foam tape
