Nutty for You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper Smooches
I didn't have many acorn images to choose from in my stamp collection, so I inked up an image from the classic Paper Smooches Falling for You stamp set.  The acorn was stamped on cream cardstock and colored with Copic markers, then carefully cut out by hand.  I used foam tape to adhere it to a strip of dotted brown on brown patterned paper with a piece of brown twill stretched across it to give the design some texture.

Since the patterned paper was too dark for stamping a sentiment, I stamped the set's  "nutty for you" sentiment on a piece of olive green cardstock to match the color of the acorn's leaves.  I positioned the words beneath the acorn, again using foam tape for dimension.  The patterned paper strip was adhered to a kraft panel, then the panel was layered on to a chocolate brown card base to match the patterned paper panel.
